DOUBLE-FILTER KIT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Open the top of the Cool Air Water Filter kit food-grade bucket and remove spigot and the box of filters inside.
Pull out the 4 filters and remove the blue plugs on each of them.
Affix the small rubber priming buffer to the top of the white filters. Put your faucet on a fast drip and hold the buffer against that, forcing water into each white filter.
First, you will see a cloud of dust come out followed by a stream of dark water as the insides becomes soaked. Once flushing is complete, submerge the filters in clean water for half an hour.
Affix the small rubber priming buffer to the top of each black filters.
Put your faucet on a fast drip and hold the buffer against that, forcing water into each filter until you see small water beads popping from the side of the black carbon filter.
Once this preparation is complete on both filters, submerge them with the white filters in clean water for half an hour.
While the filters are soaking, you can prep both chambers.
Chamber 2 has a hole in the lower side.
A plastic liner is already in place for easy spigot insertion.
Insert the spigot into its pre-drilled, plastic-lined hole in the bottom of Chamber 2. Use the plastic bolt provided to secure and tighten it from the inside. Test with a gallon of water to ensure that no moisture drops will leak from the bottom of the orifice.*

*If a tighter seal or more strength is needed, feel free to use a wrench to make your last turn as tight as can be. If you use a tool, please be careful not to strip the threads of the spigot.
Aline upper Chamber 1 's bottom with the holes drilled into lower Chamber 2's top.
Chamber 1 has two pre-drilled holes in its bottom.
Chamber 2’s cover has 2 holes that match the holes in the bottom of Chamber 1.
Once all 4 filters are primed, line the holes of upper Chamber 1 with the pre-drilled holes in the cover for Chamber 2.
Make sure that the cover is facing down not up. This will ensure that it fits correctly on top of Chamber 2.
ONE AT A TIME...
Detach the wing nut from the bottom of one of the black filters and insert it through one of the pre-drilled cover holes. A rubber gasket is provided to ensure a tight fit.
Insert that black filter, with its gasket, through a hole created, attaching the bottom of Chamber 1 with the cover of Chamber 2.
A second rubber gasket is provided to be used with the wingnut on the underside of the cover.
Hand tighten the wing nut on the protruding black filter stem.
Repeat the above to install the other black filter.
Beneath the cover for the bottom chamber, carefully screw the top of the two primed white filters to the protruding bottom of the black filter stems.
Carefully nestle Chamber 1— with the four filters attached—on top of Chamber two.
Use a bucket, or your container of choice, to add water from your kitchen faucet—or if camping!—from a well, stream, or lake.
Fill Chamber 1 to just above the tops of the black carbon filters. It will immediately begin to drip and fill Chamber 2.
Place your cool air filter on a sturdy surface, edge of a table, counter or rack that will allow your glass, pitcher or jug access to the spigot. The completed kit is 20 inches tall. Ensure that any furniture you choose can hold the weight of up to 5 gallons of water (41 lbs). A funnel will help reduce splash and spillage when filling some jars or containers.
Once your Cool Air Water Filter is operational...
fill a pitcher and put it in your fridge or make and carry your own water bottles.
